Dementia project

Ballina FRC will be hosting a talk and information event on the new dementia project that will be starting in Ballina Medical Centre in February.

Youth café in Ballina

The cafe is open in Ballina Family Resource Centre for 12 to 15 year olds (in secondary level). Opening hours: Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3pm to 7pm; Saturdays 1pm to 7pm.

Cancer support

Ballina Family Resource Centre is currently providing a facility for Mayo Cancer Support Association Outreach Services to run a support service in Ballina.  This is available every Tuesday morning in Ballina FRC.  This facility can be used by cancer patients and members of their families who have been affected by cancer.

Aware seeks volunteers

Would you be able to give some time to work with Aware as a volunteer support group facilitator in Ballina? Aware is currently recruiting for new volunteers to support the weekly meetings which take place in Ballina Family Resource Centre.
